MYKITA Eyewear Book Launch Marks 5 Years

Known for its innovative style and lightweight metal frames, MYKITAreleased a book last week in Paris entitled 5 to celebrate its 5th year. The Berlin-based brand has also revamped its first aviator Rolf sunglasses with a luxury platinum coating. These Platinum Pilots are limited edition, handmade pieces that will accompany each copy of the book, which includes the MYKITA history and information about the factory development of its flat-sheet metal eyewear. It also features five artists—illustrator Tina Berning, David Krippendorff, and photographers Florian Kolmer, Peter Langer and Otello Annigoni—who offer their own interpretations of the MYKITA brand.
