NEW SUNGLASSES COLLECTION FOR 2011
Armand Basi, with a clearly international vocation, is typified by avant-garde and
cosmopolitan designs. The firm is backing men and women who are active,
independent, urban, with marked individuality, cultured and sensitive.
This season the Armand Basi sunglasses collection again amazes us with retro trend
items, with a large variety of unisex models to cover the needs of the firm’s target
public. Plastic predominates over metal, while the collection revives the surprising
fitting of metal fractions in acetate frames.
In this year’s collection, among the sensitively chosen chromatic ranges, there are
neutral, clear and faded colours and versatile prints inspired by animal forms and
tortoiseshell. Some models have dynamic colour contrasts which stand out in the line
of more prudent designs, with discreet decoration and minimalist finishes.
Optim designs, makes and distributes the Armand Basi glasses collection and they can
be found in the designer’s own shops and in the best opticians in Spain, Belgium,
Brazil, Finland, United Kingdom, Ireland, Southern Africa, Iran, Israel, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Romania
and Tunisia.
NEW COLLECTION OF SPECTACLE FRAMES FOR 2010-2011
This season Armand Basi surprises us again with a retro style collection. If the
previous season was notable for the small, round shapes inspired by the 80s look, this
year’s collection is full of larger models inspired by the 60s, with reinvented colours
and textures, both in acetate as well as metal models.
There is a great variety of unisex models that cover the needs of an urban target
public, sensitive to the trends, as the insignia of the brand name.
With regard to the chromatic ranges chosen for this year’s collection, there are
discreet, versatile colours and prints, suitable for any occasion and to combine with
the most avant-garde looks.
There are large, retro shapes above all in the acetate models, designed in neutral
colours, including transparent, faded and those inspired by tortoiseshell and animal
print. In the metal models, there are blacks and greys with a matt finish, combined
with fuchsia, orange or yellow on the sides and the interior. The collection is
completed with some models that combine metal and acetate on the front, with
camouflage type effects and models in a dark purple.
For the logo, different techniques have been used to achieve discreet decorations on
the sides which give a minimalist, elegant finish.
Optim designs, makes and distributes the Armand Basi glasses collection and they can
be found in the designer’s own shops and in the best opticians in Spain, Belgium,
Brazil, Finland, United Kingdom, Ireland, Southern Africa Iran, Israel, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Romania
and Tunisia.
